GenP v4.2.1 (hotfix) - quick usage notes
========================================

Requirements
------------
- Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit
- Administrator account
- Adobe apps installed via the Creative Cloud desktop app

Steps
-----
1. Extract the archive anywhere (Desktop is fine).
2. Run GenP-v4.2.1.exe. Accept the administrator prompt.
3. Press "Search" - the tool lists every Adobe app it finds.
4. Select the apps you want to patch and press "Patch".
5. Watch the log panel. Each app reports success or failure.

Common issues
-------------
- SmartScreen warning: click "More info" -> "Run anyway". The exe is not
code signed; that is normal for open source tools.
- "Access denied" during patch: you did not accept the admin prompt.
Close the tool and start it again as administrator.
- App breaks after a Creative Cloud update: the update restored the
original files. Run GenP again and re-patch that app.
- Multiple Adobe installs: 4.2.1 fixed scanning for systems that have
more than one Creative Cloud installation. Older versions may only
patch the first one they find.

Files
-----
- GenP-v4.2.1.exe the patcher
- config.ini patch targets, loaded automatically, do not rename
- bin/resources.pak packed resource data used by the patcher
- bin/versions.dat per-build version table (generated at build time)
- README.md project overview
- docs/usage.txt this file
Do not rename or move config.ini or the bin/ folder; the exe expects them
next to it.
