Patch Adobe Creative Cloud apps with GenP
GenP looks at the Adobe apps installed on your Windows PC and patches them in place, so Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and the rest of Creative Cloud keep working without a subscription. It is a single portable file, so there is nothing to install and nothing to uninstall. Questions are answered in the FAQ below, and the usage steps take about a minute.
Download
Download GenP 4.2.1
GenP-v4.2.1.exe · 62 MB · Windows 10/11 64-bit. All versions.
Only trust this page. Plenty of fake GenP builds float around forums and file sharing sites. The real build matches what the maintainers publish on
GitHub.
Usage
- Grab
GenP-v4.2.1.exe from the downloads page and start it. Windows will ask for administrator rights since Adobe apps sit under Program Files. Accept the prompt.
- Press Search and wait for the list of detected Adobe apps.
- Pick the ones you want and press Patch.
- Read the log panel: every app gets a success or failure line. If SmartScreen complains, choose More info → Run anyway. Open source tools are usually unsigned.
Adobe updates overwrite the patch, so after any Creative Cloud update just run GenP once more and patch that app again. The changelog tracks which Adobe builds each release handles.
What it supports
Version 4.2.1 covers the current Creative Cloud builds listed on the Adobe Creative Cloud page: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, Animate, Audition, Media Encoder, Character Animator, Bridge, and Camera Raw.
